QOTW: Is Quick Weight Loss Safe?
To round out this week, I’d like to pose a thought-provoking question to you: Is quick weight loss safe?
I personally believe that any weight loss scheme that causes you to lose an excessive amount of weight in a very short amount of time is not only unsafe, but unhealthy as well.
Research has proven that fast weight loss almost always follows with an even more rapid weight gain. So even though you might drop 15 pounds in two weeks, you’re more likely to gain it all–and even more–back in an even shorter amount of time.
The key to healthy weight loss is to run a slow and steady pace. Even though it might feel sometimes like you’re not losing enough weight, or you’re not losing the weight fast enough, keeping a steady pace will ensure that you actually keep the weight off. Choose a healthy weight loss program and you’ll be much more likely to succeed.

This is very true! Most of the time, if you lose more than 2 lbs a week, you’re definitely losing muscle and water as well as fat. Maybe you’re not even losing fat at all!
A slow and right weight loss plan is the right way to go!
Good luck with the new blog btw :o)

I still don’t understand people who think that by taking a dieting pill and do nothing further that they pounds are just going to fall off - dieting is a prolonged task and there are no quick fixes!
