Fruit, Veggies Aid In Weight Loss
According to NutraIngredients.com, a recent study published in Nutrition Research states:
“An increased intake of fruit, vegetables, dietary fibre, vitamins C and B6, beta-carotene and foliate were found to independently increase weight loss in a population of overweight adults…”
Getting the daily allowance of about 20-30 grams of dietary fibre from your diet per day will help you feel full, which will keep you from overeating. This study is nothing mind-boggling, but it does confirm what we already know: It is important to eat plenty of fruit and vegetables on a daily basis.
