Free Yourself From Negative Thoughts

Do you fight with yourself about what you will eat? Are you constantly struggling within yourself to make the right food choices? This inner turmoil has probably led to a ton of negative thoughts. As Dr. Phil would ask: How’s that workin’ for ya?

Negative thoughts will eat you alive from the inside out. They will cause you to react in a detrimental way. Negative thoughts feed on each other, until you are just one big ball of nerves. They’ll make you go on an eating frenzy (or starve yourself to death).

If negative thoughts have stopped you from being healthy in the past, don’t let them stop you any longer. You are the only one who can control your thoughts. Free yourself from negative thinking.

Don’t berate yourself for going overboard. So you ate a little too much at lunch today. So what?! Stop beating yourself up about it. Move on and do better from this point on.

Give yourself gentle reminders. If you keep forgetting to eat breakfast, drink your water–or whatever healthy resolution you’ve set for yourself–put a reminder system in place. Write yourself little reminders on Post-It pads and sprinkle them in visible places where you know you won’t overlook them.

Set yourself up for success. If you are having trouble with junk food, stop buying it. The only way to be successful with your diet is to create a successful atmosphere for yourself.
