Are You Ready For Weight Loss Success?
One of the biggest reasons why so many people fail at their diet plan is because they aren’t ready to lose weight yet. You’re probably saying WHAT?! NO WAY! After all, nobody goes on a diet or a healthy eating binge for nothing, right?
If you have tried and tried again to lose weight but never seem to be able to stick to a pattern of better eating habits, there’s good reason behind that. You should really ask yourself if you’re truly ready to lose weight.
The truth is, for many of us, weight issues go well beyond just being heavy. There are deeply-rooted issues within us that cause us to live and eat unhealthy. And until we each dig down to get to the root of our problem, we’ll rarely be successful in losing weight and keeping it off.
It’s hard to get real and honest about weight issues. For me, it’s embarrassing. I know I’m overweight. I know I can lose the weight. Yet I still find myself making bad eating choices anyway.
My biggest obstacle is that I’m an emotional eater. More specifically, when I feel alone or unheard, I devour all sorts of junk food to try to make myself feel better. I literally stuff food in my body in an effort to push down all those negative feelings and emotions. But the truth is, those feelings are always there, and the food only makes things worse because it leads to more weight gain.
It’s getting to the real heart of the issue like this that helps you prepare yourself for weight loss. When you can get real with yourself, no matter how ugly it may seem, you can look for ways to deal with your issues, other than with food.
Are you ready for weight loss success? I know I am! I’m tired of the yo-yo’ing. I’m tired of losing the weight and feeling better, only to allow my emotions to get the best of me and gain it all back again. I’m ready to release the burden of this weight and get healthy and fit again! How about you?

I am with you on that- we have to be ready to make a life change. It is hard but it does become your new normal and you start to feel better about yourself, both physically and emotionally. I know personally when I eat like I know I should and stick to my healthy food choices I feel good, even if that scale does not move, but when I give in, even if for a day or so, I feel nasty and very ‘unfit’ inside. I have always been a healthy eater, my whole life, but now my hubby is on board which makes it so much easier. We have only healthy choices and leave the snacks to a minimum. It helps me, him and the kids stay on track! :)

You are so right, Kendra! The last week especially I’ve been eating late at night, even though I know I’ll feel miserable in the morning. And sure enough, every morning I wake up feeling bloated and miserable. Breaking those bad habits are hard…even though they shouldn’t be! :) I’ve been buying more fruit to replace junk food, which my kids love, so that helps.
