I’ll bet you’ve read article after article telling you that you need to exercise to lose weight. While I do believe exercise is important, I’ve often wondered if it isn’t overrated at times. Well, guess what? I could be right.

This is a learning process. If “fast and easy” worked, we would have stopped looking for new ways. Lifestyle means the foods you eat, the kind of stresses in your life, the kind of exercise you do, your habits….about anything relating to food and exercise. Or lack of it…

As someone who has lived through a period of depression, I understand what depression does, not only to your mind, but to your body as well. Depression is a nasty thing that can cause you to gain a lot of weight in a very short amount of time.

I had a few hours alone this morning. No kids. No husband. Just me. Now, what I really needed to do was write. But I decided to take a break from the computer and enjoy my quiet time while I had it.
