Week 5 Weigh In
Beginning Weight: 219
Today’s Weight: 209
Weight Loss To Date: 10 pounds
I can’t begin to tell you how proud I am of that one pound loss last week. I really messed up, big time. But I’m so glad that it didn’t come back to bite me in the booty.
We started out our week last Monday by taking the kids to Chuck E. Cheese. I promised them when my husband got back from two weeks of military training that we’d take them for a fun day out. I didn’t do too bad, although I did eat pizza. I had a salad before the pizza came out, so I sort of half-way filled myself up on that.
I wasn’t feeling too bad about eating the pizza because I figured I’d keep a close reign on my daily points the rest of the week. Well, that was good in theory.
My husband was off all weekend, which is highly unusual. He always pulls extra duty on his days off. So Friday morning we went to town. Robert (my hubby) said he wanted Chinese for lunch. Okay, I thought, no problem. I’ll just stick to veggies and no fried rice. Again, nice in theory, but I didn’t follow through with that plan.
Instead, I ended up going back to our table with a plate full of foods I didn’t need: fried rice, jalapeno chicken, black pepper chicken, seafood casserole, pineapple & cream cheese pinwheels. I mean, seriously…what was I thinking?!
Of course, I didn’t start feeling guilty about it until after I’d eaten all of it. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I asked for ice cream when we left. So we drove through Dairy Queen and I had a small Snickers Blizzard. Again I ask…what the devil was I thinking?!
The Chinese and candy-filled ice cream wasn’t enough though. Oh no, I had to dig an even deeper whole once we got home.
First I made coffee. (Not too bad.) Then I ate a bowl of Doritoes. (Bad.) Then I ate some macaroni and cheese. (Very bad.) Then I ate a bowl of cereal. (Bad.)
Now do you understand why I’m so proud of that one pound weight loss last week? :)
Enough of me. How are YOU doing? Check in with your weight loss from last week. I’m waiting to hear from you!

Well, at my mid-week weigh in I was down 5 pounds, but i’ve been really pressing hard to stick with my program for the last 10 days. My official weigh-in is tomorrow and I’m a little petrified by it - I’ve been pushing the limit and eating too much for the last couple of days. I’ve been working out and hydrating and more or less eating healthy things but still, I’m hoping I can maintain okay weight loss for the week. We’ll find out!

Good luck on your weigh in! Let me know how you do! Last week I just knew I blew it and would gain at least a pound or two, but I ended up losing one, so you just never know!

Actually I did okay this morning - I gained a little bit from Sunday but I’m at my pre-vacation weight from when I fell off the horse last summer! I put all the gory details at my blog/site - http://www.losingweightdaily.com/progress/
