Weight Loss Tracker & Tool
I like to keep an offline food journal because it’s more mobile. I’ve tried several different methods of tracking my eating habits and weight loss on the computer but haven’t liked any of them, except for this one.
Weight Commander is an online weight tracker that I started using last month to keep up with my weight. It’s a pretty powerful tool, even if it is online. And while I still like to keep a paper food journal, I’m going to attempt to use the food journal portion of Weight Commander to track what I eat this week.
Here are some of the things you can do with this:
- See a visual graph of your weight loss progress for the month
- Keep a daily diary of your thoughts, challenges, etc.
- Get healthy snack ideas on the fly
- Track your daily WW points, calories, or carbs
- Get quick inspiration when you’re feeling low
- Get input from Michael (the creator) on your weight journal on how you might could improve what you’re doing
- Set goals (or “guess”) for what you’ll weigh in a month
This program is really cool! It’s very simplistic in appearance, but pretty powerful to use. If you need a way to keep track of your weight loss process and progress, I recommend Weight Commander.
Weight Commander is free to use for the first 5 days so take it for a test spin and see if it might work to help you. If you like it, you can pay for unlimited usage for less than $10. In addition to using Weight Commander online, you can also download the program to use offline on your computer.

It is really easy to use. I like it too b/c you can keep a journal inside it, too. It’s got a lot of features, which sort of outweigh its ugliness.
You’re welcome! :)

Thanks for linking back to the weight commander in today’s post! I love that you don’t have to use a username or anything. And it’s a very simple way to keep track of my weight loss info. And that red flag thing is awesome!

You’re very welcome! When I first downloaded it and started using it, I didn’t really like it. I think there were too many buttons that overwhelmed me. But after I played with it for a bit, I started liking it. Now it’s my best friend. The first thing I do every morning before I start my day is open it up and log my thoughts, weight, etc. It’s a very useful tool. :)
